New York rock band The Death of Jason Brody formed in early 2006 when Jason Brody, solo artist, decided to add the camaraderie and drama that only a full band can provide back into his life.
Bio
By the end of 2005 Brody had gathered together a full band of like-minded musicians who built on Jason’s roots to create a decidedly bigger, more lush sound, and in early 2006 the close-knit team was officially christened The Death of Jason Brody. The quartet (Jason on guitar and lead vocals, Geoff Council on backing vocals and bass, Jeff Olson on drums, and Cary Hirschstein on guitar and keyboards) is a dynamic, focused entity that can turn it out like arena stalwarts Coldplay, or veer off into darker territory like Doves or Afghan Whigs.
