Bio
Matt Cuipylo AKA 2nd Comin was born on September 7th, 1987. He was the first of 2 children 4 his mother Emily. As a child growing up he really did not have a dominant male figure in his life as alot of troubled youth 2day also dont have. As just a little baby his father was physicially abusing him and his mother and almost came very close 2 losing his mother when his father tried 2 attack her with a weapon. He remembered that day vividly as he watched helpless knowing he could do nothing 2 stop the situation. "I remember it was like seeing my life all at once and i had just started 2 live it". But luckily his mother was a strong enough individual and was able 2 take her and her son out of that situation and try 2 better both of their lives.
He grew up in his grandmother's and grandfather's home in upstate NY until the age of 5. he learned alot from both his grandparents and spent more time with them than his own mother because she was always hard at work trying 2 support her son. the time spent with his grandparents proved 2 be useful. "I gained alot of knowledge at a very early age just by listening 2 stories from my grandparents". he was able 2 start understanding how the world worked at an early age which he believes is helping him still 2 this day. his Grandfather Nicholas Cuipylo was the most dominant and influential male role model he really had. " I remember my grandfather, he would always have a lesson 2 teach me everyday about something else, i would wake up in the morning, eat my breakfast, and he would always be their reading the newspaper telling me a story with a lesson behind it".
he became very invoved in music around the age of 6 when he and his mother moved out of his gradparents home. He loved 2 listen 2 Garth Brooks which was and still is his mothers favorite musician. he learned how 2 remember the words 2 a certain song and study how it was crafted and worded 2gether. then at the age of 7 is where hip hop and R&B really started 2 influence a young 2nd. he started listening 2 Tupac, Biggie, Snoop Dogg, Dr Dre, Nas and others at the age of 7. thats when the music started 2 stick with him. he began studying different beats, lyrics and verses and studying the various instruments in the beats and the point or lesson of a lyric or verse.
Thats when he started 2 take it 2 the next level. He started writing poetry wether it rhymed or not. and then throughout the years he watched as his talent grew. instead of writing about the basic things he began 2 write about what he went through on a particular day or how he could relate and try 2 solve his problems or someone elses that he saw.
As he got older his life got harder and harder each day. He was well liked by most of his peers in and out of school, but for some reason he would still be laughed at, bullied, thrown into lockers, threatened 2 be beat,stabbed and any other thing U can think of. but instead of lashing out at them and making a situation worse, he took it 2 the paper and wrote about it. "I knew from an early age what I wanted 2 do with my life, so instead of taking steps back, I just kept progressing forward no matter how much it took out of me". in doing what he did it enabled him 2 home in on his craft at a very young age.
Then at the age of 13, the one male figure in his life that kept him on a straight path was taken away. His grandfather died of Cancer in 2000 and it crushed the young teen."after my grandfather passed away, I remember being very lost and confused an not knowing what 2 do, so whenever I ran into a problem or had a question i had 2 rely on myself 2 solve the problem".
he had nobody else really 2 turn 2. even though he was popular among his peers he saw himself as an outcast, he never really had any true friends that had his back in a time of need. "Everyone I ever trusted would either die or turn on me". instead of going out 2 parties or events he would stay home and work on his music, but would never really tell any

been writin poetry since I was 7 years old, and started recordin at the age of 16.
